i have 2 tickets for a gig in september. Am i "allowed" to sell them on ebay? i genuinely can't now go and don't even want to make a profit - just sell thgem. I am not a tout. Anyone have any idea where else i might sell them? I seem to recall a site where you could sell tix for face value?

Do you have a local buying/selling site on FB?

i presume so :)
Any chance you call sell them back to where you got them? I know I couldn't sell mine back to Ticketmaster - it was part of the T&Cs that they were non-refundable - but it's worth checking.

If not - eBay has now set up a separate site called StubHub for people to buy and sell tickets. Have a look here http://www.stubhub.co.uk/

stub hub seem rather woolly on how much they charge
"There are no fees to list your tickets on StubHub UK. If your tickets sell, we'll deduct a commission (which includes VAT, where applicable) out of the total ticket sale price and then pay you the balance. "
Can you say who you bought them from? Only some ticket agencies have their own legitimate resale sites. Here's the one for Ticketmaster for example.

Otherwise the venue sometimes offer a resale facility.

Alternatively put them on ebay with a fixed buy now price equivalent to the face value.

I was going to say what maydup said. I don't think there is anything wrong with selling one pair of tickets for their face value.
I know Wimbledon threaten you with various legal sanctions if you attempt to sell their tickets. I'm not sure they would be successful though.
I think you are ok here, though.

it's See tickets
I've checked the See website and found no resell option unfortunately. However although it says tickets are not transferable it also says that it breaks the T&Cs to resell above the face value. I suggest you sell at face value and providing you pass on any information sent to you about the event, no harm will be done.

The risk is with whoever buys them from you rather than you as the gig could be cancelled and you get the refund despite having sold the tickets on.
