Slightly older ABers may remember page 3 model, Samantha Fox, was used by her con-man boyfriend to promote this rubbish.
The sellers must think the world is full of mugs. Are they right and will they make money with this?

Sandy, the world indeed is full of mugs, and they are just sitting around waiting to be filled with this miracle tea.

Nice one, stuey. I hadn't even noticed I'd uses 'mugs' in a question about tea.
Sandy, 8:30 on a sunny Sunday morning sitting here with a mug of tea and a fag, and I get a BA. What a great start to the day...Thanks
I thought that the trading standards people had stopped these adverts. I am overweight and my mother was always buying cr*ppola like that.
Milk no sugar please,! :0)

I didn't associate mugs with tea because we have ours out of porcelain cups. ;-)
wolf63, maybe the trading standards people will get after them. You'd think the paper would be careful with an add like that.
I wouldn't think that the paper would get in trouble, do you? It's not as if they have to test every product or service before they can accept an ad to be published.
Sandy, "porcelain cups"? Why, that's only half posh: to be proper posh you need an accompanying saucer.
Question Author
I wasn't thinking it would get the paper into any trouble. But the advert was so clearly a con they might have refused it to protect their readers.
OK, I see what now what you meant.
