has anyone got any tips on how to paint behind radiator pipes,without painting the pipes..thanx in advance.

1) Wrap the pipes in newspaper.
2) Paint behind them with a sufficiently thin brush.
3) Let the paint dry.
4) Remove the newspaper.

You could just hold a piece of card between the brush and the pipe and move it along as necessary.
Wrap the pipe in cling film first.
I suspect no one looks behind the pipes to see if you have a bit of paint on them anyway. You can always wipe the pipe sides clean without disturbing the wall.

the other option is to actually paint the pipes so they blend in and are less obtrusive.
You can get long wired thing with roller about 18 in long roller approx 2inches
weecalf; do you mean a radiator roller? Ideally they should be boxed in but if nt, then i agree with chas.
Use a pipe roller.
