It is, Gness. Why do I think you're related?
BBC i player tomorrow I think.
Me and MrsO...or me and Julie Walters?....☺
Question Author
You and Julie!
Gness and Mrs Overdone! It's Acorn antiques all over again. The programme's not bad though.
Psybs...you'd be amazed at the people I meet in odd places and we have a connection.....

But MrsO and I are twins, Gran.....well the height is an issue...but other than that!
Oooo, Psyb.....tuned in and yes.....it's getting very close....

Now in Westport House.....and I have family stories from there....♣

It's amazing and horrifying to see what they went through!
Was awful and unforgivable, Psyb.....My family's landlord was a miserable old bu99er named Crotty......my granny rammed an umbrella into his mouth...☺
I have just watched it, and it was great.
Only into his mouth Gness? He got off light then, up the derriere crook first would have been fairer.
Question Author
Your ancestors were part of that?
Hi,you two.....was typing and fell asleep mid sentence....I have done far too much in the garden today...

Yes my family was affected...I have a bit of a thing about Westport House. It's very different today but I still can't bring myself to visit it...nearly did this year but......

My mum's family had some odd characters but I admire some of the women...especially the gran and great gran....

Granny came home once to find two Black and Tans sitting in the little moat. They had been at a neighbours place and made her milk her only cow....drank the milk then shot the cow.
They were looking for my granny to feed them but she was a little bit cross about the cow.....well more than a little....enough to see them off.
I like that......☺
Thoroughly enjoyed it
MrF and I both have O'Briens in our tree.
He has Mary Ann, I have Edith Lyle Kerr O'Brien.
What a coincidence, eh?
Ferlew I think the O'Brien clan is rather large, my maternal grandmother was called Theresa O'B'rien.
