I have all the discs and I could save them one by one but was hoping there's a quicker way

Nope ! If you plug your iPod into synch and there's nowt in your library you'll lose what's on iPod...!!

TY, Murraymints. It's about 20 cds in total. I'll make a start sometime.

Chilli ..when I tried I lost the lot !!

It might be possible for some but it would be beyond me. I'll just gradually put them back on iTunes.
Lucky it's only a few cds.
