I had one of these and they are painful and like you I had an awful pain down the side of my foot. I am not sure what causes this pain down the side but I suppose it could be caused by walking differently. I was told to wear proper shoes and not sandals and I also had an insole made for my shoe to help keep my foot straight. Hope it soon starts to feel better.
Get it cut, they cut the muscle to relieve the tension and file away the spur.... ten days off your feet for a lifetime (hopefully)of relief... my wife had hers done she could barely walk beforehand
I forget to say I suffered for a couple of years with mine and tried everything, even had injection into sole of foot but it only lasted about 6 weeks. I used to get a really bad burning pain up the back of my leg first thing in the morning when I got out of bed. I used to strap my heel and ankle before putting on my shoes but then I went out one day to a craft type show and came across a stall selling magnetic bracelets. They asked what was wrong, why was I limping? so I told them. They suggested a magnetic bracelet. I was very sceptical but I had tried everything else so I bought one and it took away the pain and to this day I have worn a magnetic bracelet and never had any more trouble. Maybe just a fluke but it worked for me.

I haven't seen magnetic bracelets on sale any where any ideas ? Doctor did mention operation. But scared me to death cis he said I could end up in cronic pain as prone to infections when you gave ops on feet so I've hobbled on since been a year so far

thanks tonyav dont know which one to order quizkidd is yours a copper one or silver
Sorry for the delay look at this site http://www.magnets4health.co.uk/?gclid=CIOHhtna978CFSEcwwodGH0Arg. I have several different ones gold, silver and titanium but not copper as I found that copper made my foot ache more. I didn't like to say in my last post but I suffered for about 4 years with mine so much so that I could hardly walk because of the pain but since I found these bracelets, touch wood, nothing. Not even a twinge but I would not have gone for surgery. I have been fine now for about 6 no 7 years.

ok im on 3rd day of wearing my bracelet i can say itseems to be doin something as the pain does not seem as bad although it is still there , went out last night and had a dance now normally if i dance i can hardly walk after yesterday it was sore but deffo not as bad , or is is it mind over matter is it because im wearing something that i believe is helping ? not entirely convinced yet but i dont know how long it took for quizkid to start working , will update again in few days
For me it only took 1 day for me to begin to feel a difference so keep wearing your bracelet and hopefully it will do for you what it did for me. I only take mine off when in the shower, bath or pool. Still got my fingers crossed for you but give it time. Pleased to hear you were able to go out and have a dance last night but just be careful not to overdue it until it starts to heal.
Question Author
I've had it a year now quizkid never known anything take so long to heal especially wen I don't know how I damaged it in first place unless it's cos I'm over weight , yes I'm keeping bracelet on. All while except wen I shower will keep you informed x
Question Author
is it the placebo effect ?? who knows but my pain in foot does not seem as bad it hasnt gone away completely but deffo seems to be easier to cope with , think it was worth £15 for the magnetic bracelet even if it is all in my head , will continue to wear it and update
So pleased to hear it is not as painful as it was and we both know how painful it can be. Keep wearing it and hopefully the pain will go away completely. Keep me informed. Oh and if it is in your head it was in mine also, who knows don't care because it worked.
Question Author
very true quizkid who cares how it works as long as it does, i dont think people understand the pain we get with this condition unless they have had it , i guess its confusing as they see us walking and cant see anything wrong , very weird condition i must say, do you know what caused it for you ?
