do they not have an expiry date on the box?

I'm guessing where you're coming from with this Q, SFC - I used to have a monthly delivery of lenses as part of a contract but never got round to wearing them all, and used to have boxes and boxes of unused lenses. That was with Specsavers. I found out they would exchange the unused ones, but only if they were in date. Since then I use Asda and only buy what I need, no contract.
I suspect the lenses will be OK to wear if they are still sealed, and are in fluid when you open them. They should have been sterile when packed and sealed, and provided you haven't stored them down the loo they should still be OK as long as they are moist.
Expire ? As long as the seal is not broken, than they have an almost indefinite life. I have some going back a couple of years and I can't see (!) there should be any problem at all.
Says here that, as a medical device, there should be an expiry date on the box, and it's normally around four years.

But this site says "Expiry - Minimum 1 year from date of purchase", tho' I suspect this is to cover themselves when selling any older stock they have.
