Hi, can anybody help us? Trying to remember the name of a large chain of men's tailors of the 1950s and 60s that was a major competitor of Burton's. We're pretty certain it was a man's name, but just can't remember.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

no, no, its up to 'button' if he wants to tell you.

Depends on how much crotch room the tailor allows, minty ( or the time of year ! ).
When I was 16 I worked as a cashier in Burtons, unfortunately the cash office was situated in the made to measure department.
I wish I had a pound for every time a 'gentleman' invited me to measure his inside leg...........
Too too much information !! On that note..it's lights out...now get to bed you lot and I'll see you all bright eyed and bushy tailed on GMEB ....nighty night my friends xxx...
Wraparound.....
Or fags & Guinness, Svejk LoL
I know what you're talking about, barks. but I doubt anyone else does, lol.
