Been looking at these comparison sites. The yearly 'saving' can be confusing, if not meaningless. If your current tariff has less than a year to run the yearly cost is caculated by adding the few months' left of the current contract added to the provider's standard variable rate for the remainder. I have been getting result like 'save £250' which is ridiculous.

What I need to know is what is the price 1 years fuel compared with the competitors. Is ther a site which does such a comparison?

If you know your actual annual consumption I'd have thought that all you need to know is what is the cheapest p.a. . It's up to you what you then compare it with.
