Has anyone who is growing chillis this year noticed them shrivelling up? I have grown some Apache chillies in pots and they have flowered and there are tiny chillies coming. A couple of the plants have a larger chilli but they have not exactly shrivelled but are sort of sunken in at the sides instead of being round and plump. A friend of mine has some on her inside window ledge and her`s has done the same thing. Could it be the heat?

Yes mine are doing that too - like they are drying themselves!

Mine have always been a bit concave when I've grown them in the past - they seem to turn out all right.

That`s interesting puzzled54. I`ve noticed that even the tiny, tiny ones are doing it before they have even grown to full length. They`re just developing that way.
Where are they placed? I find sometimes that chillies will prefer bright shade rather than full sunlight.
