Hello all. I'm not having the best week for a number of reasons, and to top it all, the gas has been turned off in our building (flats) since Tuesday so I have no hot water and no means of cooking except a microwave until next Thursday!!! So I need help. Can I cook fish from frozen in the microwave? If so, how?. It's not for me it's for my cat. I can survive on salad etc but he needs a special diet and white fish is perfect for him as a treat. TIA

Do you have a defrost setting on your microwave? If so then I'd use that and then cook for a couple of minutes on full and keep testing until it's done.
My Mum always cooks her frozen fish in the microwave. She has being doing this for a number of years now and is still with us. Make sure the fish is covered. Cook for a couple/few minutes leave for a couple of minutes and repeat until cooked.
