Bad Pooler Message - Forcing Dump And Crash

Then into reboot.

Microsoft Windows 7, Asus Pc, Google Chrome.

What could be causing this and any suggested remedies.....

In the meantime have you tried switching it off and on again - it is amazing how many problems that solves.

Just found out how to run a memory test and the RAM is fine....

thanks, Alice, though....I got a link on how to do it.
Possible loose connection of the ram stick is the only other idea I can think of.

methyl, sorry for not responding sooner, bad spooler I think, the message screen is only on for a few seconds and then dumps. The reboots have been clean on start up.....the RAM was okay on test.

failure has been on tumblr a few times but also on AB usage. Google Chrome is my search engine.....

Bad-Pooler-Call was the message, just had it happen twice - makes me wonder if this is happening when tpo many windows are open in Google....

Have you installed any new hardware or peripherals recently?

74.5GB on my C drive, used 37.7 methyl......

my tecchie thinks it may be the fan....however, that I am not sure as the dump is intermittent.

No daffy....
Go to....

control panel >> system and security >> system >> advanced system settings >> startup and recovery settings >>

And then untick 'auto restart' box

this will at least give you a chance to see the error message.

It's almost certainly a driver problem though.
