Is there any difference between an `Occupation` Lane and an `Accommodation` Lane in reference to accessing farmland in years gone by?
Thanks.

I don't think so. I'm interested in canal and railway history, where many bridges were built in both cases to facilitate access for farmers etc. They are are known as accommodation or occupation bridges. I think in this sense the terms are interchangeable.
