just received an email purporting to be from santander telling me to confirm details of my account as there is something wrong with it.

sounds good until you realise no bank gets in touch this way and wants details of your account an i have never had santander account. expect they would ask for my bank details just to cross-check if I told them this.

anyway just be aware they are at it again.
