Large Bloated Belly

I have noticed that a lot of ladies of a certain age (I'm 61) have really large sticky-out bellies but the rest of them is a normal shape/size - me included! My belly is not in proportion to the rest of me. I sometimes look about 30 weeks pregnant. Why is this?

No expert but maybe after the change fat dustributes itself in a similar pattern to the male ?

You say "sometimes you look about 30 weeks pregnant" could this be down to swallowing air ? Is the bedroom noisy whilst you sleep ?

After the menopause, the womb moves upwards apparently, which is known as Middle Age Spread. It is also indicative of someone who doesn't exercise. Bread can also cause the problem of bloating.
I haven't felt "bloaty" since I discovered Morrisons wheat rye and spelt bread. Its delicious too.
I've never heard of wombs moving upwards. Downwards through gravity makes more sense. Middle Age Spread refers to the thickening of the waist and general lack of tone.
blokes spread at the waist in middle age and we don't have wombs moving up or down.
Eating too much wheat based product
Plus all suggestions above, one of the factors involved in the hormonal changes of ageing are that women produce more testosterone (block hormone) and men produce more oestrogen (lady hormone). Consequently women may develop physical traits that are associated with maleness eg facial hair, hair loss, beer belly, and men can gain weight overall rather than simply on the belly giving them a softer 'female' silhouette. You can also compare yourself to your mother and grandmothers for some clues as to how your body will age.

Start doing workout. Go for a walk in the morning to reduce your belly. You need to take some efforts to burn out the fat in your belly.
Don't worry many of them have faced this problem and many of them have came out of it.
It is achievable just need your determination and dedication.
