I have treated my dog with Frontline 2 weeks ago but today I found a flea on him. Can I use another one on him or do I have to wait?

I use Program and Advantage on my cats every 4 weeks, I alternate the two though so they have Advantage, then two weeks later Program.

Program won't kill the fleas but it does interrupt the breeding cycle.
Garlic is toxic to both cats and dogs, it used to be recommended but not any longer.

That's interesting daffy .Shaney lived to the ripe old age of 13 which is about the time limit for a big dog so I don't suppose it did him much harm .
He wasn't given it on a regular basis though ,only if I saw him scratching :)
In small amounts garlic is Fine and probably far safer than all these flea treatments.
I found this article on dogs and garlic a few months ago. It makes a lot of sense...

Thanks pasta, I know it works and our hounds are as fit as fleas! We have same issues feeding our hounds fresh raw meat, some think that feeding mass produced cereal packed with chemicals is better for them lol.
You must always use the correct amount for the size of your dog. I have to use extra large dog for mine and every three weeks and it works fine. I'm sure if you were to repeat after two weeks it wouldn't do any harm. My husband accidently put extra large dog on the pussy cat and he was fine no after effects.
Brinjal, my vet and reports in the newspapers say that it does work in some areas but not in others. In other words there are pockets where it does work and pockets where it doesn't. But the pockets where it doesn't work are growing larger and getting more numerous. It used to work for my animals but it doesn't any more as I am in a zone where it has ceased to be effective. Once I changed to Advocate I never saw another flea of either my cat or dogs. With this wealth of information about FL not working on the internet I don't understand why anyone would even contemplate wasting their money on it especially when they can see it's not working as in juble's case.
I have used Frontline for years without any problem - however I do use Frontline Spray which is only available from a vet. I would never use a spot on treatment as you have to use it every month whether or not they have fleas, and I don't believe in putting chemicals onto animals unless you see evidence of them. They don't kill the fleas either, they stop them from breeding so you have to treat the ones you see. You should never use more than the prescribed dose and never use dog stuff on cats as they can have a seizure.
Lankeela FL Spray may be working in your area but there are plenty of instances on the internet where people are complaining that it no longer works for them and I am talking about the spray. So I should keep a close eye on your animals which I'm sure you do anyway.
Advocate does kill fleas in fact it starts killing them within 20 minutes of it being applied to the animal.
