I have just valeted a car this morning, the thing was full of dog hairs, why don't people that have dogs put covers on the seats / floor / boot to stop the hairs getting stuck into the fibers?

Well when I had a dog it was because I couldn't be bothered.

Our 3 cars have got Blk Leather interiors. there is only one place the dogs go, that's the load area of the Estate.
Because dogs are a zillion times more important than upholstery. (People who don't allow their dogs on their sofas or armchairs should be shot!)
Ha ha Chris for best answer. Actually dogs who have short stiff hair like weis and GSP's are a particular problem because the hair passes through seat and boot covers.
Also if people didn't have dogs and let their cars get hairy, you wouldn't get the valeting jobs!!
well, that's what I was thinking, woofgang, TWR won't get many clean cars to valet

I do keep getting them as I'm good at my work! ( Smug Sod)
no no TWR smug MOANING Sod :)
Yeah, those dog hairs sort of weave there way into the fabric.
Why bother putting covers on your seats when you're paying someone to clean them for you?
You should see our car after having 3 Wolfhounds in it. Apparently we have to clean soon, so the good lady tells me :-(
Still got the Landy, RATTER ?, you could just power wash the interior !.
Perhaps you are in the wrong job. Most of us dog owners cherish our pets more than the upholstery in a car.
Because most people just can't be bothered to look after their cars.

You still alive Woof?
It would put car valets out of work.
When I buy a car it is with the intention of it transporting me and my stuff where I want. I don't want it to be attractive enough for someone else to covert, and so steal. So what occurs in its interior doesn't bother me. I don't own a dog though. The only event that troubled me was when the mister spilt a bottle of milk on the floor and 'forgot'. That was a very pongy time.
When I worked, my car was a portable filling cabinet. I always knew where to find everything. Why clutter up the house?
