Have you got the person at your workplace , who is always complaining about something , instead of just getting on and doing their job , like his/her colleagues ?

Or someone you know , who is always complaining about something ?

What do they complain about ?

Yep, I call him Husband :o)
I don't complain. I state facts :-)

Even my OH says I should complain more. I don't like complaining though, nor does he....so nothing gets done.
Oooo...Ed....think that deserves best answer! Made me laugh..☺☺☺

ed- lol
Yeah, and it's usually me.

Within minutes of getting to work I can be heard saying "issit home time yet? I've been here FOERVERRRRR!!!" I'm really sure, in fact im certain, that totally endears me to my colleagues ;-)
i get pissed off when people moan but won't do anything about it.....
B00 beat me to it. Yeah it's her.

Oh sorry I meant me. Sick of the job and the management that took over and proceeded to ruin just about everything since they got in. Nothing is right any more and I'm checking daily whether I can afford to leave yet. It's, "No", again today
I don't know how to do links but Sally Smedley in Drop the dead donkey is a perfect example.
Baz...I am surrounded by people like you describe ! Either that or I am turning into Victor Meldrew, which may be true.

I sat next to a woman years ago when I worked in BT, who was constantly complaining of her bad health. She was always going off sick with some ailment or other. I asked her one day if she had every had leprosy, as she appeared to have every other disease under the sun. She didn't find it very funny, although everybody else did.
Yep, that's me!

Amongst all the moaning and complaining I do actually get on with my work.
Had a week off this week so can't complain ;o)

so tigger , after a week of work , should we feel sorry for your colleagues , when you return to all that work that they have not covered on your behalf ; and you get into complain mode again ?
What are people complaining about?

If I say 'I don't feel very well' to me that's just stating a fact. If I went on and on about it then that becomes moaning.

Generally as a middle mgr ( didnt like it much)
you find that the work force is divided unequally into three

those who turn up work - great ! usually undervalued but are of course noticed when they leave
those who turn up and wont work - complainers to you
spend lotd of time explaining why they cant do the allotted task
and those who wont turn up, ill study, visits, court etc
These are the ones I wanted to shoot most but even in Gynchester they wouldnt let me

what do they complain about - anything. Even inconsistent complaining isnt below them. - They can work because the sun is shining AND it is raining....that is they complain about X and thirty seconds later about notX

I've passed 60, I qualify as a G O M, sadly I work for myself so no-one gets to appreciate my talents, as the OH and even the Hounds just don't listen!
My work colleagues should be very afraid. Very, very afraid ;o))

Actually, my parents are back from holiday on Saturday so they can look after Little Tiggs while I work late all next week and play catch up.
Baldric 'fess up!
