The vehicle registration document will show the exact age of the vehicle, 3 years from first registration the first MOT is due! then every 12 months thereafter.
True but not necessarily accurate BlueToffee. My car was born on March 1st but I MoT it on Nov 1st. First MoT done early to catch it inside 60,000 miles for warranty.
The gov link is the way.

Trouble is cars can be left in garages for periods and not MOTed, so the day counting method may not work.
The Gov web site just says if the car is MOT'ed or SORN it does not give the date the MOT is due.
I was wrong ^^ the gov site gives the date of the last MOT so you can use it to see when it is due.
