How do I get my toolbar to come back as it has disappeared and I need to close?

It would help if you told us what application's tool bar has gone missing and what you are trying to close. Also, what device are you using and what operating system?

Thanks for your answer Gen :-) I've just been told to push f11, which I've done and it worked. :-)
