I think he's trying to make a point about the State's ban on same-sex marriage. But I can't help feel that there are better ways to go about it without coming across as some sort of nutter.

I dunno, I have often wanted riid of mine when it won't cooperate. I have also felt like kicking it through a window from time to time (would that be domestic violence?)
Well marriage seems to apply universally these days. Maybe he didn't want the laptop to be his civil parner.
