Was it bad ??
Question Author
It was nauseating.
But you didn't turn it off. lol
I did

Was it bad, all the way through Star?
It was the second part of a two part documentary, did you not watch the first part last week?

Most of the programme talked to those who are sex workers and those that are addicted to using sex workers, so hardly porn in itself.

What the clients got up to was bazaar my most standards, but each to their own. At least they were all consenting adults.
Didn't see it, but from the posts here, above, is sounds to be a documentary on an issue that was shown after the watershed. Not reading here why there was an problem. Education, is it not a good thing ?

How is a programme called "Love for Sale"....clearly about prostitution, I should have thought...."sinking to a new low"?
Clearly there are some people (including OP) just waiting to be "nauseated"...otherwise, they wouldn't tune in, in the first place.

so....

the OP judged it to be 'a new low' before watching it

and confirmed it was 'nauseating' afterwards.

perhaps knowing it would not be to their taste they shouldn't have watched it

which makes their comments un-informed and valueless

if they did watch it, one has to ask; why?

I don't see a problem with it. It was C4 which often pushes the boundaries, and it was clearly labelled as to what it was about.

If you watch something which you know in advance is not going to be your taste then when you are offended by it you can hardly complain. I personally find soap operas really offensive in that I think they dumb down TV and encourage stupid dramatic behaviour in people in real life as they emulate the very poorly written story lines, but I choose not to watch them because they irritate the life out of me, so my problem is solved. If you don't like what is on TV, turn it off :)
^ Blimey, do you feel better now that you have got that off your chest ?!
Nothing on my chest to 'get off', quite the reverse actually, I don't watch soaps because I find them banal, so they don't affect me. I was trying to suggest that if the OP doesn't like a TV programme she doesn't watch it. It works really well:)
Could have fooled me !
Did not see it but Rupert Everett says it all to me
