Blackberry Phone How Can I Remove Lock

I was fiddling with my Blackberry Curve 8520 mobile today and ive managed to add a padlock icon to the home page. Now everytime I try to use the phone it asks for the unlock password. Its getting tedious having to input the phone password everytime the screen goes blank or when I want to use the thing.

Ive been through the setup and options menus but I cant find a way to remove or undo this lock.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance

I'm not much kop at technical stuff. however just had a mess about on my blackberry. do you know how to get the 'options' page up. if yes scroll down to 15th option 'password' & on the bottom of that page is 'lock hand-held upon holstering'. that should say NO. hope it works for you ;)
