Breathless- Sqad

I have just got round to watching Breathless which I recorded a few months ago. The actor (Jack Davenport) who played Otto looked very familiar- a cross between cricketer Michael Vaughan and someone who used to play Sherlock Holmes- but it also struck me that with his looks and charm he is just how I picture Sqad (or at least Sqad as he was maybe 20 years ago).
If you're around, sqad: I remember you saying you watched it- how similar is he to you?

I've just googled Jack Davenport. He looks nothing like Sqad. Sqad might lie about that though :-D

I believe the character, Sir Lancelot Spratt, was based on Sqad. Though I may be wrong.

I did say maybe as Sqad was 20 years ago ( I was too polite to say as he was in the early 1960s which is when the programme was based). It was more his smooth talking , bedside manner and the way he charmed/attracted the nurses that made me think of him
