fuddle, i won't be ordering on line from a certain retailer again,
three days of faffing about, i have hardly left the flipping house, tracking system said that it was in the van, then on the road, then back at the depot, as damaged, so no idea where its got to. I can't really leave stuff with neighbours, as some are students or out at work. One item was finally delivered after three phone calls, all on these 0845 numbers, so who knows what that's going to cost and its now gone back as unsuitable, oh gawd

I think they are usually quite good.
What retailer?
Question Author
this has been the most fruitless three days in years, and that is saying something. Good, not in this case. Three days of waiting, for two items, had i realised i wouldn't have bothered. The phone calls, they can't check where goods are, only tracker can do that, and it was completely wrong, as it said that goods couldn't be delivered as party not in, not so, i have been here.
0845 numbers are only charged at 5p per minute from a BT landline.
Question Author
Chris, exactly right. I spent over twenty minutes asking the call centre how do i find out where my goods are, can't do it, try the tracking system, i finally resorted to calling the courier company who were no better.
they better refund my dosh, i am serious peeved.
Question Author
even so, the fact is i can't get a straight answer from them at all
