if it is a bomber think Lancaster

I saw one over Howarth in 1987 and it is pretty impressive
but how many are airworthy ?
see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_surviving_Avro_Lancasters
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. Their aircraft are quite often seen in the skies around here (I'm just down the road from you) on their way to air shows and fly-pasts in the south-east of England.
