for the best part of a year i have severe pain down the spinal column into the coccyx, across the lower back, buttock, and leg pain, allied with a sense of having the flu, pain across the face, blocked ears, and very itchy nose, i touch any part of my face and hear these crackly sounds, back of both ears hurt, eating, moving jaw causes pain,

i have taken several courses of antibiotics to no avail, one might have caused a bout of vomiting, i have lost much of the muscle from the buttocks, where i get these prickly, stabbing sensations, its like sitting on bone all the time, coccyx aches, can neither sleep on one side or the other, nor flat down as i used to do,
apologies for this, i guess i am just exhausted

so if i seem off my game in responding to your jokes, jibes, or pleasantries, that would be it
I don't see an question but can say I sympathise. It's horrible not to feel fit & well. We never seem to appreciate good health until we're not feeling great.

perhaps i am just talking to myself, i have seen the docs, had MRI, which showed some degenerative disc problems, but not severe enough to have surgery,
the docs are too busy, too many patients, and too short a time to say hello, then goodbye,
Indeed. My memory may be cherry picking or something but I swear when I was a kid the doctors seemed to have more time to pay attention and sort the patient out. All efficiency and getting patients shuffling though these days, or at least it seems that way to me.

i have no relief from this, because by and large its different areas, the pain in the back, spine is the worse, followed closely by that which i sit on,
no one mentions what it could be, that is what gets to me
From the posts you've done in the past about your physical health I would say that ongoing physiotherapy, pain management and psychological support are your best options. If pretty much all organic causes have been ruled out (which is sounds like they have) or treated for, then I think you do need to look at whether your mental health may or may not have a bearing on your physical problems; this would be best explored with psychological support.
can't remember if I've suggested osteopathy before, or if you've said you've tried it. It's not a cure-all but it can help sort out msialigned spines, and it might well address the jaw pain.
Seems same as my OH. Suffering was due to boxing & heavy work. Beladonna plasters aid spinal support. Tis important to keep moving or you stiffen. Tai chi exercise help. There used to be a maternity exercise (head to foot) to loosen up. Only when the spine seizes does the pain eases up.

Try this doing each 3 times till you supple up. Omit the reverse bend till you can cope. 15mins to begin with to loosen up.

i generally keep moving, but its difficult, and getting more so. walking a favourite pastime is now the devil.

i feel dehydrated, even though i drink a fair amount of water,
i also eat fine, no cutting back,
the persistent pain in the tailbone has me wondering when i had surgery on around that area a few years ago, could it have moved or something slipped
this is the first day in a while i have done nowt, as the weather is crook, but i don't enjoy much like this
last time was back in 2008 when i had a bad virus, and bursitis, which knocked me for six, which took 5 months to find...
camp bed and doctors perhaps, as i suggested to our resident doc
Sit on a firm base ie board under cushion. Likewise sleep with board under mattress. Itchyness could be due medication. Your symptoms sound like AS (above) from past sport injury. OH was under Doc Whitehead, Harley St, specialist in AS. Try an app with him?
Have you had a full immunology screening done? It could be autoimmune disease such as ankylosing spondylitis or some other inflammatory arthropathy.

AS may also occur if you've had ulcerative colitis in the past (although there's no definitive proven link).

Ask your GP to do the investigations (ANA, ANCA, HLA-B27, ESR, CRP, etc...) and take it from there.
