With a Ragu tomato and mushroom sauce or a bolognaise sauce. Mic can digest boneless skinless chicken breast. I buy all sorts of sauces to cook it in but
i'm running out of ideas.

don't see why not Jeza, sounds ok to me. Have you tried the white wine sauce? Queenie often uses that with chicken breast for a quick dinner, she always adds some grapes at the end to make it like a chicken Veronique - no idea where she comes up with these ideas. You could leave out the grapes for Mic if you think he might have a bit of trouble with them
Yes, it'll go fine.

I made a shepherds pie being mince I thought it would be easy to chew. Mic choked badly. I thought mince would be easy. I was wrong.

High protein full fat diet. Statins in case of high cholesterol. Mick has lost heaps of weight. So Khandro thanks for your input.
Just wondered whether you'd had some advice from a dietician or someone at the hospital about what you should try and make for Mic's meals and such. We've had some problems with my mum, and she has been prescribed food supplements to help her gain some weight as she has lost so much recently as she has problems eating. They should be helping you with this sort of thing for Mic as well

Nun. The dietician came earlier this week, he said he no longer needed those high cal drinks. I will admit I'm a bit $issed off with them all. Occ therarapist, physio's etc. They come to our house speak to Mic for a minute or so then leave. but book a half hour visit.
That's not good service at all Jeza, I hav the other extreme I have overnearing social workers always interfering and trying to get us to put mum into care (she has dementia) we were managing quite well until we thought we needed a little help and asked for it and all we got was put her in a home, respite care, (we don't need any respite) yah de yah - what we need is a mix between your indifferent ones and my over officious ones! Time for you to get mad I think - I did they've backed off a little and only communicate through the dementia nurse who monitors mums weight.
Create a fuss, Mic deserves better from these so called professionals and you need to be supported too
How about the Maggie bags? I tried some the other week and was really pleased with the results, just stick the chicken in the bag you get with the pack and the seasoning, shake it about and stick it in the oven. Really nice moist chicken with a nice flavour, quite quick and easy for you to do.
