i have had this for a long while, its painful, and hard to sit, when i do its like sitting on the pelvic bones, as lost muscle from the buttocks, other stuff has been going on this whole time - feel under the weather, constant itching across the shoulder blades and mostly down the spine, right down to the coccyx area, it is painful when i scratch it, but once start can't seem to stop, the pain on walking is ever present and trying to sit, walk has become very hard.
had physio but it didn't help. Some pains meds have made the room spin, and slurring words, which obviously doesn't help. Not sure what else to try, pain medication that might help.

I suppose you can't see the skin. Is it eczema? That can flare up if you're under stress.

doctors in surgery, they don't know, MRI scan through Neurology, they say a small peripheral neuropathy, but can't they see where the constant nagging pain in spine and coccyx comes from, and essentially been referred to a holistic approach to pain management, also pain in bones in knees, both hips hurt too, i feel off balance, i really thought it was bursitis as had it before but they aren't convinced.
Question Author
had dozens of small lumps come up on my back last year, not like heat spots, they itched like mad,
These small lumps emmie, could it have been caused by some sort of allergy ?.
Question Author
tony no idea, but they seem to have left their mark, as i can still feel them, though not as prominent. itching in the spine has me reaching for the loofah, as i can't reach, but it comes and goes, the comes on again.
Are they visible, emmie.
Question Author
yes, but not as prominent as they were when they first appeared,
May be worth asking your doc to investigate whether you have some type of allergy, emmie.
If it's just the skin, try hydrocortisone cream. See if that helps x
Question Author
its the rest, the pain, its hard to manage, as i seem to react badly to any number of these drugs.
