I see she wandered back home crying. What a strange case. There is not much news in the papers or tv about this. Family think it is some sort of vendetta or feud. Has there been a bit of a news blackout on this?

What missing little girl?
Yes I thought the same Caran, it was just glossed over on the news just saying the mother was delighted at her little girl's return ...... something didn't ring quite right ............
The one in Australia I think Ummmm - a similar case to Madeline McCann, just disappeared, thought to have been abducted.
How is it similar to Madeline?

Question Author
She was taken from her bedroom in the middle of the night. Came back 42 hours later. She was 3 years old.
Question Author
There was no mention of asking Chloe who she had been with or what happened. If parents think it was someone they knew then there was a chance the child may have known them.
Do you not think it's a bit crass calling her 'Australia's Maddie' when she was found alive and well in less than two days?
Question Author
There were originally similarities with the two cases, ie both taken from their bedrooms.
something seems a bit strange ,,,,
Question Author
I know Anne that is why I posted this.
I understand that but as far as I'm concerned it's pretty dire reporting. Can you imagine how the McCanns must feel reading this?
No, do tell.
Question Author
I can certainly understand the McCanns upset at this story. But this is another story of child abduction.
Are you saying there should not be any further reports of child abduction to save the McCanns of any further distress.
I really took it to heart Maddies abduction, she was the same age of my granddaughter. Every day I put the radio on I hope to hear news of Maddies.
Question Author
Sorry submitted too soon, I meant Maddies reappearance.
I agree with Ummmm, it's crass in the extreme to draw comparisons with the case of Madeleine McCann.

And when, for the love of Jess, will the papers stop calling her Maddie? Her parents have repeatedly asked people not to call her that. She has only ever been known as Madeleine.

I'd be pretty peeved if people kept calling me Caz...
//Are you saying there should not be any further reports of child abduction to save the McCanns of any further distress.//

Of course not, that's just silly, but abductions should not be compared to Madeline.

If Madeline had been abducted and returned two days later 'then' comparisons can be made.
