Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. I was absent from parade yesterday. I stayed overnight in Stroud after an excellent RNA social do in Gloucester. I drove over to my friends in Stroud and we were picked up by minibus to go to Gloucester so that some serious quality control could...and was...undertaken. Therefore I stayed in Stroud overnight.

Today a funeral in Staffordshire. A much loved member of the canals trust died suddenly. She will be much missed.

At the moment i have a day to catch up with domesticity tomorrow. Then back to the canal Wednesday.

I must make a move too and get ready for the trip up to Staffordshire.

I think I might have stayed in Gloucester - New Inn on the high st., ? was new in 1450. You have breakfast in what were obviously the stables in 1450. Redecorated I hasten to add

Clearly I enjoyed my stay in Gloucester

Morning Pixie, thanks, really it's a case of making sure I don't leave anything outstanding, I've stopped advertising, got 3 jobs on the books, then as far as I know that's it, I can sit back and let my Tenants keep me in the style to which I'd like to become accustomed.

Morning WBMXXX nice to have a break like that and not have to worry about having to drive . I went my daughters for dinner but only had a small glass of wine. Never had a bad mark on my licence and don't want to start now lol. Have you heard how MM is she badly hurt her ankle yesterday?

I've always said gardening's not good for you, just keep the grass short enough to find the dogs and prune the shrubs as and when.

Days off mean late starts!! Docs in a wee while to get shouted at for not having lost much weight while I was away.... c'est la vie. Got to wait for the insurance bloke to get in touch regarding the car and loads of tidying up to do.... happy Monday folks
