Yes. I think its a goverment agency that checks who is 100. Something like the anniversry dept (or something).
Only 11 years to go then.
My father's nursing home did all the arrangements for him, but we had to supply the birth certificate. Not at all complicated, I gather.
Fred's link says that if the person is in receipt of pension, the DWP do it automatically.
seen a card a lady got from the queen no money in it .you would think she could bung a tenner at least .
I have heard that while she personally licks the stamp, she gets a footman
to pop down to the postbox on the corner. She is, after all, a very busy woman.
