Laptop Low Battery, Manual Restart

i have 3 latops, 2 of them when battery goes low i plug in charger, hit enter and can resume.
However on my HP , none of this works .The power light stays on and it does nothing at all.I have to manually switch the laptop off and then back on.
I have tried all the power settings and it makes no difference.It has been like this from new.

I haven't got a clue as to what's going on with your laptop but the people at HP probably will have. Give them a call in the morning (as they're open from 1000 to 1600 on a Saturday) or next week (0830 to 1800 Mon to Fri). The number is 0844 369 0369, with calls costing just 5p per minute from a BT landline.

This is an issue common to HP laptops in your situation go to the HP website and check for it and a fix. Otherwise ring H P like Buenchico says and they should help you.
