We are off to the Tor Park hotel tomorrow until Monday. Fairly good reviews on trip master, has anyone on here been? No wifi in bedrooms though have to use the lounge.

Just for info,

The popular British sitcom Fawlty Towers was filmed at Wooburn Grange Country Club in Buckinghamshire from 1975 to 1979 and other locations in Middlesex.

Baldric, I thought they were all filmed in Torquay, and interesting that they were filmed over four years as to my knowledge they only made 12 episodes.
The Torquay hotel that inspired the classic BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers has been saved from demolition.
Torbay Council decided it would be against its tourism policy to replace the Gleneagles Hotel in Asheldon Road with a block of 25 flats.

at least your not staying at the Grosvenor that hotel featured in a recent docu on tv where the once owner now manager cant even pronounce then name of the place ! Have good weekend Caran.
I have been to Torquay a few times over the years, for Conferences. Its OK I suppose but whoever named it the English Riviera has obviously never been to the real Riviera !
