If they've no pies a packet of crisps will do.
A large brandy

Is this question re last meal befoe execution?

Well then i will have a nice steak , well done , but marinated for 30 years or so - before cooking , followed then by Apple crumble and thick custard
A ginormous plateful of shellfish - at least a dozen oysters, crab, lobster, prawns etc etc
Toast...lots of it. Thick, cut your own white bread, medium toasted with lashings of real salted butter that leave teeth marks.

If i can't have that, a chicken Dhansak will do please
The link does not refer to pre-execution dinner. Therefore, I would question whether many would have much of an appetite in such circumstances and/or knowledge.

For the purpose of the website the question may have been better worded as 'The ultimate meal - what would yours be?'

About 20 or more years ago there was a book published on this subject, called "last Suppers". Lots of celebs were asked, if they were to be imprisoned on bread and water for the rest of their lives, what would their last supper be before the imprisonment - no holds barred. Most of them chose a 3-course roast dinner, and most of those wanted roast lamb.
For my part, I'd choose an irish breakfast. Had one once in Donegal - it seemed to go on for a fortnight.
Full English Breakfast and big mug of tea
