Has anybody been there to see a show.
I want to buy 2 tickets as a gift for Joan Rivers in October, but a bit skeptical of buying from these company's like ticket masters etc, as have heard so many bad things about them.

Ticketmaster is 100% fine, as are Seetickets and a few others but its hard to know which ones are genuine and which are re-selling at inflated prices. So the very best place to start is www.royalalberthall.com. Always try the venues website first and if that directs you elsewhere you are usually OK

Albert Hall has a wesite go on there, you will be charged a booking fee which is annoying, but they all do it.

As Mayup says TicketMaster are fine in the fact that they charge the price of their booking fee and postage, as I said annoying but unless yo go to the box office its what they all charge.

The ones you MUST avoid are the ticket resellers such as Stubhub and Seatwave as they are just legal ticket touts (alledgedly)
lots of times, not sure if you are remotely local, because i won't buy from ticket offices, i get them from the RAH
the added bonus of going in person is you can see where you will be sitting, pick the tickets for yourself,
We go often. We buy tickets direct through the RAH website.
i have hopped down there, as i found i couldn't always tell whether they were good seats, its a fantastic venue.
