A letter to the Prime Minister
Dear sir
In order to relieve the flooding problem throughout the country, I have thought out this plan. Cancel the HS2 scheme altogether & transfer the huge amount of money saved to building a new canal system in all the flooded areas to drain all surplus water to a new main canal which itself drains directly into the sea.
These new canals coupled with the canals already in existence could also be used for transportation to help relieve problems on roads & motorways.

It's a terrible idea gness. So much suffering for so little gain. If people want to get to London more quickly they should move.
