Plumber Training

My son (29) is a 2nd year gas fitter apprentice,he started late in this field after a couple of tours of Afghanistan with the Royal Engineers (TA) now his firm is moving out of the area and can`t take him with them,anybody know of a firm that might help sponser or employ him to finish his training, This is in the Swansea area ?

Most of the larger firms in the S Wales ( Spie Matthew Hall, Crown House Lorne Stewart etc)area dont carry apprentices anymore, they hire in agency workers.
Has he contacted Brit Gas?

Malagabob,thanks,yes they`re not taking on at the moment,looks like he`ll have to finance the training he has left himself,different in my day firms (including my family`s own ) would take on Apprentices if their employers had to move or shut down to finish their training.
