Help Please With My Toolbar

The width has doubled to what it was, and takes up to much space at the bottom of screen!

Clicked right hand button of mouse on it but cant find anything to make it narrower.

Just put your mouse pointer on the top boundary of the task bar and drag it down to where it belongs. If you really want to confuse matters, you can drag it to the sides or top of your screen.

(^make sure that it's not locked when you do the dragging and lock it again once you've finished)

Jim, if you mean when the two arrows come up, it wont move!

right click on it and see if the "lock the toolbar" or whatever it is is ticked. If so try unticking it.

You could also try right click on taskbar, select 'Properties' then tick the box 'Use small icons'
