I have been wathching a lot of David Attenborough lately .

Anyway , there was one programme in which a massive shoal of fish was swimming swiftly around and changing directions rapidly .

In another programme , a flock of birds was also flying swiftly and again changing directions , rapidly

In both cases there were thousands of fish and birds and they were densley packed .

What got me wondering is how do they keep from colliding with each other ?
