so if you were served up a plateful of carved meat and you knew it was horse..you would quite happily eat it would you??...like you would beef on a sunday lunch???..as a vegetarian i find that totally repulsive...

We find it distasteful that Koreans eat dogs.

Jews find it distasteful that we eat pigs and lobsters.

Plants are living things in the same way as animals are. So why do vegetarians feel it is OK to eat plants but not animals.

Men have done worse things to horses than feed them well, look after them, kill them humanely and then eat them.

That's fair enough, jj. It isn't natural to eat carnivores. In theory, there's no reason not to eat horsemeat, but owning them, i wouldn't eat them. I also wouldn't eat rabbit. Irrational,maybe.
