Some of the tips are a bit useless because the whole thing seems to be aimed at the USA (what isn't these days?), the using a plug pin as a screwdriver one would not work here in the UK.

Thanks, Daffy...some cracking ideas there....the one I wouldn't do is the elastic band on the paint tin.....I just know it would snap when it was covered in paint....and I know where the paint would end up....☺

Perhaps a shoelace instead of an elastic band in your case then gness ;)
