I have managed to copy a folder containg 40 or so photos from my PC on to my iPad4. This is now showing on my iPad as an "Album". The original photos are happily residing in their original folder on my PC.
I have now decided that I don't need the album on my iPad so I would like to delete it. According to the iPad User Guide, in the section "Organising photos and Videos" there are instructions for Renaming, Rearranging and Deleting an album but the final line of that section reads, "Only albums created on iPad can be renamed or deleted."
As this album was created on my PC and copied to my iPad, I don't seem to be able to delete it.
Can any kind soul please advise me how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have to do it through iTunes?

Yes possibly sm'bags. Any idea how?
The same way you added it, when the ipad is attached and visible in iTunes, select it and then the photos option and untick the album so that it is no longer synced to the iPad

Thanks very much for that Fitzer. I'm sure that's the way to do it. Unfortunately, Mrs ZZ has got her paws on the iPad right now so it'll be tomorrow morning before I can follow your advice.
I haven't a clue and don't know if this is of any help.:-
