I've got some bananas 'on the turn', so i thought id make banana bread. I've got everything apart from baking soda.

Can I leave it out? And more importantly will it be edible?

Always happy to help ;-)
Baking soda is a raising agent, but as Banaana bread is quite solid I can't see it being omitted will be any great loss.

Most shops sell it why not go out and buy some , it keeps for ages.
