Trying to remember a quote I heard in a documentary on World cattle feeding....Not sure whether the volume of feed totalled 8 million or 8 billion tons p.a.? Can anyone verify these ballpark figures?.... Tried Wikipaedia without any luck...Thanks in advance!

World feed production in 2010 was 720 million tons, according to this report...

Thank you for that.....Now I feel justified in giving up red meat.....the resources used to feed all these animals is beyond comprehension!
