I guess you did get answers, but I also guess you were hoping from more than just a yes and a nope!!! I have, and can say it was excellent - mine was slow cooked as a kind of stroganoff ..... highly recommended but I can only speak for slow cooking it ................ I generally don't use recipes, but here is one which would produce something similar to my dish ........

it wasn;t anything like the crispy duck i had for dinner :-)

it does look nice when the chefs do it, i saw one on sat kitchen that looked nice

They were cooking it on Masterchef just now.
Soft, glutinous beef.

It has to be cooked well or else it is broccoli.

I tend not to use red wine though, as it can leave an after taste if high in tannin, so I substitute this for a decent glug of brandy:

yes, it makes a good goulash - especially left a day then reheated - and daube of beef

posting this one in food and drink might have got some less brisk answers ;)
