Have an old silver badge for Glasgow infirmary.
Markings on it are Anchor, Lion and an X. Also TF.
Please what does the X mean.

It's a date mark, I would need to check, and my tables are still packed from moving house, Perhaps someone else can help, but I'm thinking earlyish 1900's.

I think it could be by Thomas Fattorini. They seem to be big Birmingham badge makers.
