Anytime I've been given hyacinths I've put them in the garden once done in the house and they've come up following year..

So can I leave them "in situ" or do they have to go outside?
I have cut off the dead flowers,do I continue to water or leave it dry so the leaves die off?
Better to either trim and lift..store in dark place and repot late autumn...or simply trim and plant in garden...I do the latter...
Question Author
so trim the leaves ,you mean...sorry I appear to be a bit "thick"..I have not had these before.
Yes let leaves die back and when withered trim off and either store or plant in garden..
Question Author
Thank you...will do that.Have a good day.
