Well Alan Carr brought comedy to a new low level; with he and all his guests grovelling in the gutter.
it was total rubbish, and have you noticed that the same films have been repeated over and over, seven brides for seven brothers was only on 2 days ao and it's on again. and the repeats are just endless but they are only from a few days ago! i'm sure mrs brown was on again
Watched a lot of DVD's as well. If you don't like 'soaps', 'alternative un funny comedians' or 'celebrity led drivel' it was dire. A talent show for dogs- I ask you??? what next? 'celebrity toilet secrets'????
"Even the Royale family was dire."

The Royle family was always dire, so no big surprise there.
Mr Stink was the best thing on tv for a long time, in the family drama genre.

I think Ripper Street is good.
Mr Stink and the Lost Christmas with Eddie Izard were excellent family films. Call the midwife was disappointing, mrs Browns Boys ridiculous and all of NYE programmes total rubbish
mrs brown's boy's new series start's tonight i hope it's better than the two over christmas
The Christmas episodes were shocking! If the new series is no better, I won't be watching next week.

I find that to be true of many Christmas specials though - poor compared to the usual series. Very odd.
Dr Who Xmas Special was better than I thought it would be
Outnumbered xmas special just not funny - the 2 younger children are too old now, they used to be quite funny, but not any more!
I loved all the Little Crackers, which were a lead up to Christmas.
Just thought it was the same as a normal day/eve viewing.
Sorry gollob I just posed the same question not realising you got there first!
