Its not serious in any age if it is just bell's palsy.
no more serious than in a 58 year old.....but more details needed for advice, sibton. i'll always remember my mum waking up and the wail she let out when she saw her face, though x
my dad had an episode once, I don't think age has anything to do with its seriousness sibs, its a case by case condition and most people go on to make a full recovery.
What do you mean by Bell's Palsy?
Is the diagnosis definite?
Is there a problem with associated shingles?
